General: This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Entry Requirement: While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the VCEA requires the following criteria to be met.
- Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement
- Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification or Certificate IV qualification within the Business training package or similar qualification or higher
- Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or Certificate III in EAL or its equivalent
In addition,
- Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point) and all the student has to go through LLN assessment test
Pathways into the qualification: Candidates may enter BSB5420 – Diploma of Leadership and Management with one-year vocational experience in leadership and management area or completed Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or similar qualification.
Vocational or Educational outcomes: Students can go into a range of employment or further study options, including studies Advanced diploma of leadership and management or higher education level.
