General: This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering for residential and commercial work. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as the specialist field of work, solid plastering. Entry Requirement: While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the VCEA requires the following criteria to be met.
- Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement
- Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification .
- Minimum IELTS score of 6 or PTE score of 52 or Certificate III in EAL or its equivalent
In addition,
- Applicants must have computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point) and all the student has to go through LLN & digital literacy assessment test
Pathways into the qualification: Individuals may enter CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering by completing CPC20120 – Certificate II in Construction.
Vocational or Educational outcomes:
After achieving CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, individuals could progress to CPC40120 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction or CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
